Vacant CEO position at IEB (South-Africa)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Examinations Board (IEB). The successful candidate will be required to take up the position in January 2023.

The IEB is accredited as an assessment agency by Umalusi, the Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training. The IEB delivers NQF-based adult education examinations, a national senior certificate examination for schools in South Africa, an international secondary certificate for schools in Africa and a wide range of other assessment instruments and training activities in assessment. The company currently employs a staff of 48, engages about 2400 consultants and has an annual budget in excess of R100 million.

Its mission, based on this vision, is to make a significant ongoing contribution to human resource development through the design and delivery of a wide range of high-quality, affordable assessment products and services to all sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
